I can't believe October is already over! We have had a busy end of the month, filled with lots of learning and fun. The Huskies had their first buddy event with Ms. Malari's Kindergarten class. The Fourth Graders brought some of their favorite books up to room 28 where they read to their buddies and made some pumpkin art. Please look at the pictures below to see the students reading, crafting and getting to know one another!
Our first classroom celebration was for Halloween yesterday. The Huskies were again able to pair up with their Kinder Buddies and walk in their costumes together at the Roosevelt Parade. I loved seeing all the creative, adorable and sometimes spooooky costumes. After the parade, we had a small celebration in Room 2. I was so impressed by their creative Halloween themed answers for Scatergories, their excitement over BINGO, and loved watching them make some Halloween crafts. All in all, it was a fun and exciting day for the Huskies!
