On Thursday the Room 2 Bears celebrated Valentine's Day. Each student made an "Owl" bag and shared Valentine's with each other. They enjoyed their time sharing stories, laughing and exploring all the "goodies" in their bags! The Bears are very loving and I enjoyed seeing them show kindness to one another during our Valentine's Day celebration!
The Room 2 Bears have begun their next big PBL Unit: We've Got the Power! Students have already learned about magnetism and static electricity, and will soon become experts on energy conversion! As a class they have learned to hypothesize, make connections and work together in this unit. I am excited to watch them continue to explore and learn. Please see their learning in action in the pictures below!
Room 3 had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine's Day!! Students exchanged Valentines, enjoyed some stories, and had fun spending time together. The Wolves are a very loving class!
We are a few weeks into our PBL study of Electricity and Magnetism. Students learned about what magnets attract, magnetic poles, static electricity, electrons, energy conversion, and have begun working on circuits! We are looking forward to our field trip to the Exploratorium on Tuesday, February 17th. Check out the pictures below!
